The design of each piece is inspired by the architecture and history of the theater. Originally built in 1929 as a Masonic Clubhouse, many aspects of the original architecture remain today. The tile fountain in the main courtyard is indicative of Spanish tile and design seen throughout Westwood Village and embodies the deep roots and rich history that the Playhouse shares with our community. The Fountain graphic is an interpretation of our courtyard fountain from above.
